From the NMUSD Board of Education:
After a year of planning and gathering input from students, educators, staff, families, and community members, we are proud to share the 2026–2031 NMUSD Strategic Plan — a vision for the future and a call to action that will guide our work in the years ahead.
At the heart of the Strategic Plan (English | Spanish | Russian) is the simple but powerful commitment that all students are all our students. The plan identifies four areas of focus — Academics, Belonging, Connections, and Resources — and outlines the qualities we want every graduate to develop through our Portrait of a Graduate (English | Spanish | Russian).
Together, we will continue to create engaging learning experiences, support students, foster safe and welcoming schools, and ensure every student has the opportunities and resources needed for success.
